Brody File Exclusive: RNC Chairman Reince Priebus on Obamacare and Democrats: 'We'll tattoo it to their foreheads and beat them in 2014'

In an exclusive interview with The Brody File, Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus says that while Obamacare is painful for many Americans, he says that the GOP plans to, ‘tattoo it to their foreheads and beat them in 2014.”

He also invokes the classic Chevy Chase movie, “Christmas Vacation” when describing Obamacare.

“It’s like in Christmas vacation and the Jelly of the month Club when Cousin Eddie says, ‘Clark, it’s the Jelly of the Month Club. It’s the gift that keeps on giving the whole year round.’ Well, it’s not good for this country but obviously politically it’s been a nightmare for the Democrats.”

We interviewed Chairman Priebus at RNC headquarters earlier this week.

A partial transcript and the video clip are below.

RNC Chairman Reince Priebus: Politically, the answer is let Obamacare go through, we’ll tattoo it to their foreheads and beat them in 2014. The problem with the political answer is that it’s a painful thing for a lot of people.

Priebus: We kind of have two different Republican Parties. We’ve got a Midterm Party that quite frankly we win about everything imaginable. I mean we’ve been doing well in Midterms…the presidential however, we’ve been having trouble for 24 years really, winning a decisive presidential race.

Priebus: It’s like in Christmas vacation and the Jelly of the month Club when Cousin Eddie says, ‘Clark, it’s the Jelly of the Month Club. It’s the gift that keeps on giving the whole year round.’ Well, it’s not good for this country but obviously politically it’s been a nightmare for the Democrats.
