Speculation Alert: Sarah Palin Heads To Iowa

Remember that song by Bonnie Raitt called, “Let’s Give Them Something To Talk About?”

Well, try this one on for size. Sarah Palin is heading to Iowa next month. Iowa has great people and loads of corn but it is also full of presidential politics. Hmmm…

Palin will be the featured speaker at the Iowa Faith & Freedom Coalition Banquet. Read more from their release below:

The Iowa Faith & Freedom Coalition (IA FFC) is pleased to announce that Gov. Sarah Palin will be a featured speaker at their 13th Annual Family Banquet on November 9, 2013 in Des Moines, IA. Steve Scheffler, President of IA FFC stated, "We are thrilled and honored that Gov. Palin has confirmed to address Iowa's top conservative activists, as we kick off the 2014 election cycle. Without a doubt, her appearance will motivate activists to be involved in grassroots politics here in Iowa that will help turn the tide here in Iowa, by electing more family-friendly public officials at all levels."

Palin will join Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, and Phyllis Schlafly, president of Eagle Forum, at the event.

The mainstream media keeps trying to make Sarah Palin irrelevant, and within the NYC-Washington Corridor she is exactly that. But the highbrow mainstream media might want to put down their lattes and New York Times and embrace the concept that Palin is still relevant.

Her words and endorsements will matter in the 2014 Midterms. And beyond? Who knows.

Sarah has great charisma and great heart. I want to vote for her in whatever way she decides to run.

Sarah has been and continues to be a breath of fresh air - she says the things I can only wish more of our so-called reps would say!

The media and old-boys put her down because they have a deep seated hatred for the message she expounds: that government is just too big and too intrusive.

She helped get us Cruz and she will help get us more red-blooded, honest to goodness, conservatives!

The hundreds who showed up for her million vet march should follow her to Iowa. She might crack 1% in the 2016 caucuses.

No surprise here .. Sarah is an awesome woman, smart, actually more than smart, a great leader in her own right, and of course Conservatives would flock to hear her speak, and she is known for supporting Conservative causes .. so to insinuate there is more than Conservative activism here is a stretch, not a story.

Of course Sarah is relevant. Nicki Haley was behind and received an unsolicited, unexpected endorsement from Sarah Palin in her run for the Governorship of SC. Haley said she went from "Nicki Nowhere" to viable candidate over night.

Candidate Romney had a long scheduled campaign speech in New Hampshire close to his home in Mass. 1800 people turned out. With about 1 1/2 days advance notice Sarah agreed to speak to a high school event the same day...10,000 people showed up! Sarah is a rock star!

My dream ticket is Palin-Giuliani. Sarah can get the Red States & Rudy could make huge inroads in the Blue States. They would listen to "The Mayor".

She's a celebrity and rabble-rouser, but she's not a vote-getter.

Give it to them again Sarah Palin.
Transliteration: palin
Phonetic Spelling: (pal'-in)
Short Definition: again, further, on the other hand
Definition: again, back, once more, further, on the other hand.

I think it's interesting.

Sorry to sour the pot, but as much as Mrs. Palin invigorated the 2008 Presidential race, she thoroughly sunk it. In other words, absent Palin, McCain would've had the edge in '08 & much of the stress we have today about Obama 5 years later would've never materialized.

Palin's lack of credibility was only further conformed when she quit as Governor. She draws the crowds more because of what has become her celebrity status versus any tangibly productive contributions to the discussion.

Absent a viable 3rd Party, the Republican Party is the only alternative to the Democrat party. Having Palin in the mix only turns away Independents & keep the Democrats in office. That's just the fact.

I'd like to see the GOP win races, so news of Palin taking the microphone for politicians who should be able to speak for themselves isn't encouraging. Granted, I write this with respect there are plenty of CBN members that are Democrats & I respect that. I'd just like to see some GOP results.

Recall Sarah had an 86% approval rating in her own state among both parties before the Democrat Party started hassling her. Also, recall Alaska has a very weird law that allows any citizen to personally sue the governor for any reason, no matter the relevance. Of course the Democrat Party decided to use this strange procedure against her, had thousands of citizens filing lawsuits against her, thereby tying up staff and thecourts. So she resigned to save the state from all of the Democrat Party-induced irresponsibility.

SHE'S WORTH LISTENING TO,AND SHE SEES THE WHOLE PICTURE. WE'D BE BETTER OFF, IF WE HAD A PRESIDENT WITH VALUES LIKE SARAH PALIN. SHE WOULD NOT BE TRYING TO DESTROY OUR COUNTRY, AND SHE WOULD PROTECT OUR CONSTITUTION.

One thing about it, If Governor Palin runs for any office, she will win.

We haven't had a Conservative leader this strong since the great Ronald Reagan.

My dream ticket for 2016? Palin-Cruz.

So the part time gov is going to Iowa next month. That should be about the same time her new book will be coming out.

What a coincident.

We certainly agree about one thing, Blackwater. Palin/Cruz, or Cruz/Palin (doesn't much matter, really) would be my dream Republican ticket too.
