Franklin Graham to Brody File: New Obama Term Will 'Usher in the Largest Changes in Our Society Since the Civil War'

The Rev. Franklin Graham tells The Brody File that President Obama’s re-election means that “this will usher in the largest changes in our society since the Civil War.”

David Brody: When Mitt Romney lost and Obama won, that the sun did indeed come up next morning and that Jesus is still on the throne no matter who sits in the White House.

Rev. Franklin Graham: The sun came up. Now, this will usher in the largest changes in our society since the Civil War. No question. Everybody’s taxes will go up, not at first, but everybody’s taxes are going to go up, it’s just going to get more expensive as you try to pay for Obamacare and all these other things that are out there before us.

Graham: I want people to know that I’m a sinner. I’m not better, I’m not anybody’s judge. God is the judge, not me. I’m just here to warn you what is going to take place if we don’t repent of our sins and be willing to receive God’s salvation, His Son by faith.

Jesus Christ came to this earth on a rescue mission to take our sins. He died and shed His blood on Calvary’s Cross and He was buried for our sins, and God raised His son to life, and if we’re willing to believe it simply by faith, God will forgive us. He’ll cleanse us and Christ will come into our heart and He’ll change us.

Franklin Graham to Brody File: 'There’s No Room for Us to Consider Gay Marriage'

The Rev. Franklin Graham tells The Brody File that the definition of marriage can not be changing because “that is redefining what God gave us.”

Rev. Franklin Graham: The family is the backbone of society. And if you take the family away and there’s no way you can have a family with two females or two males, if you just think biologically about how God made us, our plumbing is completely different. He made us male and He made us female.

But God is the one who gave marriage and when you go to Genesis 2 and God made Adam and Eve and there said the man is to leave his mother and father and be joined to his wife, and they become one flesh, and there’s no room for us to consider gay marriage or same sex marriage because that is redefining what God gave us.”

Franklin Graham to Brody File: on America: 'We’ve Turned Our Back on God'

Rev. Franklin Graham tells The Brody File that America needs a new “Moral Majority” movement in America and says, “Our country is in trouble. It’s in trouble spiritually. We’ve turned our back on God.”

Graham stopped by to talk to The Brody File earlier this week. You can watch more of the interview on this week’s Brody File show airing Friday on the ABC Family Channel at 9:30 a.m. Video below and partial transcription.

Rev. Franklin Graham: We need someone like a Jerry Falwell to come back and resurrect the moral majority movement where you get people that have a moral background who are willing to come together and vote for moral issues that are important to this nation. If that would take place, we would see a great change in this country, but our country is in trouble. It’s in trouble spiritually. We’ve turned our back on God.

Franklin Graham to Brody File on Obama’s Re-Election: Christians Should Be 'Upset at Themselves'

Rev. Franklin Graham tells The Brody File that one of the lessons of President Obama’s re-election is that more Christians in this country need to vote and he tells me that, “if Christians are upset, they need to be upset at themselves.”

Despite the fact that more Christians went to the polls in this election than in 2008, the reality is tens of millions just don’t even bother with voting.

David Brody: What is your message to folks who are wondering what just happened, and it looks like they feel a semi hit them?

Rev. Franklin Graham: We know that from of the statistics that I’ve heard that the majority of Christians in this country just did not vote for whatever reason. The vast majority of evangelicals did not go to the polls.

Graham: God is in control, and if Christians are upset, they need to be upset at themselves. We need to do a better job of getting our people - the Church - to vote. Now, I’m not trying to tell you how to vote, you can vote, but vote, my goodness, and vote for candidates that stand for Biblical values.

Lindsey Graham to Obama on Benghazi: You're Not Going To Get Away With It

Sens. Lindsey Graham and John McCain may end up being President Obama’s worst nightmare over this situation in Benghazi. As you saw during his press conference this week, Obama is peeved at them over their treatment of his administration regarding the Benghazi incident but it’s just going to get worse.

Want proof? Well, The Brody File was in New Hampshire covering the presidential race a couple weeks ago and watch what Graham said to an audience at a local establishment in Manchester. (Graham was there to hold a Get Out The Vote rally for Mitt Romney).

Sen. Lindsey Graham: How many of you are worried that Benghazi, that they're going to get away with it. Yeah, me too. Well, they're not. They're not. I promise you they're not.

Graham: It's not being partisan to hold an Commander In Chief accountable for his actions. These four people that were killed, you could see this coming for months. There was an Al Qaeda storm brewing, the British left, the Red Cross closed their office in Benghazi. We left the place open, unsecured, and the Aug. 16 cable saying Al Qaeda's all over Benghazi, we can't withstand a coordinated attack, and basically they were telling Washington we're going to get killed if you don't do something about it. And we did nothing about it.

For eight hours, not one person could come to their aid. On Sept. 11 of all days? And all the lies, we're going to get to the bottom of it, and the man that's going to lead us there is going to be John McCain.

Get ready Mr. President. It’s about to get a whole lot worse. Graham and McCain don’t play around.
