The Bible does not tell the government to feed the poor. The church is to take care of the poor. Because the church was unable or unwilling to do this then the government decided to step in and do it. Of course what followed was corruption. A safety net is one thing, but and entitlement is another. Give people a hand up and not a hand out. Better said teach people to fish and you have fed them for life rather than just giving them a fish and you have to keep doing it.

Catholic doctrine does NOT teach that one can PICK to be "catholic" and turn around and CHOOSE to allow mothers and fathers to sin by permitting their unborn children to be slaughtered intentionally through legislation that the politician has been given the privilege to do. The next step in the gov't care at all costs is the push to legalize euthanasia and assisted suicide which is not only being applied to the terminal horrifically ill but elderly the state does not want to longterm care for, the elderly whose children do not want the cost of care, and younger people depending on state funding for health treatments and the state will only provide the cheaper, end your life! "Thou shalt not murder!"...easy after promoting abortion!

Someone PLEASE bring up the fact that when Obama was a senator, a bill was introduced that, if passed into law, would allow a precious baby who had survived a botched abortion to receive medical care. Senator Obama voted AGAINST THAT BILL!! On today's 700 Club, Kristy stated she was with those who are still undecided on who to vote for. Others in the viewing audience may be like her, they NEED to hear about this bill that Obama would not vote for. Imagine, an injured baby who survived an abortion attempt laying on the table and yet Obama wouldn't allow that baby to receive medical care! It's mind boggling! Knowing that, I'm stunned that anyone could possibly be undecided! And yes, Biden is "personally opposed to abortion" but he doesn't want to put his will on anyone else. What a COWARD not to stand up for the unborn!! PLEASE LET'S VOTE THESE PEOPLE OUT OF THE HIGHEST OFFICE IN THE LAND!

Both Biden and Obama are entirely responsible in God's eyes for the outright bloody murder of about fifty million innocent unborn children because neither of them has ever done anything to stop abortion in this nation. Other than the Chinese, no dictatorial monster in history has ever done anything remotely as wicked as they do on a constant basis. If anyone thinks these mass murderers are Christians in any sense whatsoever, then he has no idea of the true nature of biblical Christianity. The God of the Bible does not compromise with evil to the most infinitesimal degree.
