First on Brody File: New Christian Voter Guide Lands in Battleground States

Ralph Reed’s Faith and Freedom Coalition has now begun dropping their presidential voter guide into key battleground states.

They are sending it out to roughly 17 million social conservatives that they have identified in their extensive voter file. It is being delivered by mail, email, text message, to churches, and door-to-door.

When people receive the voting guide in the mail, they can scan the barcode into their smart phone where a video begins to play that sums up the candidates positions on the issues.

Stay in the know. Get The Brody File Weekly

To give you an idea of just how massive an effort this is, the Faith and Freedom Coalition will mail about 2 million voter guides in some of the key battleground states. When Ralph Reed was with the Christian Coalition in the 1990s, they might send out 200,000 pieces of mail in each state. Reed tells me that, “It’s the difference between a Model T and a Ferrari.”

Oh, by the way, guess what? Reed’s group has the cell phone numbers of 13 million social conservative voters. President Obama’s campaign had 7 million cell phones in 2008. Not too shabby at all.

The Faith and Freedom Coalition is locked and loaded, as they get ready to mobilize Teavangelical voters across the country. The question is will the Romney campaign do their part and have a strong ground game, too?

The real question is whether or not Romney's campaign can convince Christians that the only executive in America to have instituted both tax payer funded abortion and homosexual marriage is a conservative...

Awesome news. We need everyone to put in all their efforts and put their differences aside and have all faiths come together.

Doug - Obviously you weren't following Massachusetts politics. Check out the historical record. Romney filed suit to stop same sex marriages, and eventually lost. Re: "Romney Care"... He had Democratic majorities in both houses. Should he have vetoed every piece of legislation during his tenure? He was guilty of being a Republican in a liberal state. But, he does personally oppose abortion. His problem is what he said to get elected in Massachusettts.

To all Christians who remain undecided who to vote for...Ask yourself what President will best defend the Constitution of the United States of America when he places his hand on the Holy Bible during the swearing in ceremony. Hopefully it will be the actual Holy Bible and not some other book (the quran or the book of mormon). Better yet, ask yourself which candidate defends or undermines our Constitution right now. Will we still have a Constitution in the years to come, or, will we surrender our sovereignty and go the way of the United World Order? I'm reminded of the scripture in Ephesians 6:12(NIV)"Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand". All we can do is vote what we know to be right, and knowing we did the best we could, our conscious clear before God and man, we endure until the end looking up for our redemption draweth nigh. Again, I am reminded of our pledge".

We need someone in the WH who knows how to solve problems and not create more than we have now. We had a big debt problem in 2008 and now we have a much larger debt problem then in 2008 from someone who promised to cut it in 1/2 by the end of his first term.

I'm impressed and glad that the Christian Community is finally going to stand up and give Satan the boot. It will be difficult but is doable with Gods help. It will take a whole lot of people on their knees praying and seeking Gods aid. Good Show

I am plain tired of reading articles on all the sites from all writers who don't say anything even simple points in a straight ahead manner which is how people talk. I read this and said finally a writer who I can understand without trying to take breaths places which is how I learned commas which was a long time ago but not that long.

I do not think everybody reads their mail anyway but I do not know everybody.

Thank you to this writer whoever he is for putting something up that makes a point he is saying and just says what he is talking about not wants to be the landlord that I can understand. Jesus did not sit down and type the Bible with spellcheck and that is the truest thing anybody ever wrote and that is how it was written down then. I do love God that is not what I'm saying and we all even are part of plan but that is not written out like a book is except the Bibile His Word.

It is strange that as a Christian I am asked to vote for a non christian while a publicly avowed follower of Jesus Christ is ignored and opposed. I believe Christians have lost their way this Presidential election and are being asked to support an immoral man who has lied time after time, been pro choice when it suited his political aims and belongs to a "religion" that does NOT believe that Jesus is God himself. Barack Hussein Obama IS a Christian, has publicly avowed his love for Christ, believes that Jesus is the one true God and has made helping the poor among us his top priority while his challenger has decided that the rich are a better choice for his political protections. Think hard on this one fellow Christians. I do hope this is not censored, I am depending on the fairness of this website to be a place for open, honest and polite discussion.

One aspect of the Obama election team that makes them unique is that they aggressively / preemptively monitor conservative media and interject their talking points. I suspect "The real question" comment left by "Doug" is a example of this strategy.
Apart from the "One who allows" for a time evil to exist, Whoever controls the media controls the election.

Remember Matthew 10:16
Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

Even though our president proclaims Christianity, he has not shown through his actions that he really is a Christian. Many proclaim allegiance to Christ, but are not "doers of the Word." Does homosexual marriage follow the teachings of Christ? I think not. As a Christian, I cannot vote for Obama because his actions speak louder than his words. We have a choice in this election. It may not be the best of choices, but that's what we have. We should do our best to bring our country back to its Christian heritage. Which man will do that? Obama has shown that he is not that person. We can sit home, fellow Christians, or we can vote for Romney who seems to be the better person to lead us in that direction. At this point, that is our choice.

The issue is whether you can be a Christian or not be allowed to express your religion. 4 more years of Obama and the religious freedom we enjoy will be gone with most of our rights. Being a Christian will mean being an enemy.

If you want to be a Christian you have to vote to get Obama out. A vote for Romney says I want to be able to be a Christian. No vote says it doesn't matter. An Obama vote says I don't care to be known as a Christian.

It is that simple. Religious freedom or not.

On keithcooper's comment: Obama SAYS he is a Christian but his fruits are anti-Christian. Jesus said "you'll know them by their fruits". His fruits are 1) Pro-abortion laws supported & passed (as in partial-birth abortion -meaning if baby survives the abortion process the doctor could legally kill the baby. 2)Supports homosexual marriage & if re-elected will pass laws to repeal the DOMA (Defence of Marriage Act - between man & woman). My Bible says that we are not to consent or partake with the works of darkness -which includes casting our vote for someone who is making anti-Christian laws. Jesus said "Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven". Romney is pro-life & for traditional marriage (Rom 2:13-15 says that if someone obeys God's law from the heart - he is justified before God).

To Keith Cooper:
It is more important to judge a candidate by what they have done not by what they have said. As President and Senator Obama supported abortion on demand at all stages of pregnancy. This is patently un-scriptural. Obama attempted to mandate religious organizations to spend money on programs counter to their convictions. Obama has openly supported so called gay marriage with his words AND his policies. Romney as governor opposed so called gay marriage and as governor was friendly to faith based policies. This is a Thomas Jefferson type election. Electors chose someone in Thomas Jefferson who might have not been an "evangelical" Christian but someone who would certainly be friendly to faith based policies. There is absolutely no question Obama's ACTIONS, LEGISLATION, and POLICIES have been hostile to people of faith. No question.

I myself, am not voting in a "Preacher" or minister, I am voting for someone who will help America out of the 16 Trillion Debt, and create jobs. I do not believe Obama is a Christian, no matter how loud he hollers it. No Christian would ask for Jesus' cross to be "covered up" while he gave a speech, nor mandate that all military chaplains no longer are allowed to say 'In Jesus Name' or use God in prayers, or promote homosexuality, or abortion etc... Nor do I believe Mormans are Christian. I am not afraid of a Morman cutting off my head tho, and I fully believe Obama is a Muslim from birth, and he is promoting them in America. A Muslim would cut my head off. And have many Christian heads under their belts. AND there is no such thing as a 'moderate' Muslim. They all follow the Qu'ran and it teaches them, as our Bible teaches us. I would like to read this voters guide along with fervent prayer.

# RE: First on Brody File: New Christian Voter Guide Lands In Battleground States

I wonder how many Christians are deeply aware of how serious this election year really is. And how many of us have been repenting for the sins of our nation, both our own and also for the rest of the people and politicians who have kicked God out of almost everything in our nation. How can we expect God's hand to continue blessing our nation if we the people don't repent with prayer & FASTING. I mean REALLY FASTING, meaning NO FOOD ALL DAY LONG. We are a nation of over eaters and fasting from food as well as repenting at the same time would indeed show God that we mean business. And by the way, even B4 Obama was elected, I felt that he would being leading our OBOMANATION. He is about as ANTI-CHRIST AS THEY COME. And he's all for the Islamics and Molsems. And he's definately against our freedoms and our constitution. When he said he was for change, he told the truth in that it is his agenda to get rid of our constitution. Vote for Obama if you want socialism/communism here in USA

I would like to make a comment in reference to Barack Hussein Obama being a Christian.
A man who orders that the crosses be covered up before his appearing at Georgetown University is a heads up. He is also for abortion and gay marriages. The Bible clearly speaks against this.
Never once has Barack hussein stepped foot on Israels soil, why not? however he has promised Jerusalem to Pakistan. The Bible clearly states that Jerusalem is the promised land of the Jews.
By the way...take a good look at the company he keeps, you can tell much about a person by that alone.
Barack Hussein Obama also believes that there are many ways to heaven besides Jesus, not true according Jesus Words.

Barack Hussein obama has also quoted the Quran as being the "Holy Quran" It is anything but holy. The Quran teaches that Jesus is a prophet who is going to come back and claim that our Holy bible was all a lie, then he is going to help the Muslims kill all who do not convert to Islam. Is Obama Christian?

Keith Cooper and those thinking of voting third party,

To Keith: You must understand that Romney is for helping the poor, too. But the question is always, "How is that best done?" Without a doubt, the best way to do that is to encourage the growth of a free market economy. Capitalism is the single greatest means for bringing the poor out of poverty ever invented. Obama denies this, in action, if not in speech. Romney, on the other hand, affirms it. Indeed, policies that treat capitalism as the problem, and not the solution, always make the poor worse off. If you care for the poor, you must vote Obama, and not Romney.

To those tempted to vote third party:
The perfect candidate does not exist. And we only need elect someone who upholds American ideals--we're not electing a pastor, but a president. Alan Keyes might be great, but alas, a vote for him is a wasted vote. Thus, one must always vote for the candidate who is the least bad, but the most politically viable. That's Romney.

I think this site has been taken over by Mormons pretending to be Christians in order to whip up support for their Mormon Pastor turned Presidential Candidate. These people want you to believe that Mitt Romney is a Christian whereas Obama is not. It would be funny if some Christians were not vulnerable to this Mormon propaganda. I have a strong inner feeling that Obama will win and that this is God's will for America and I am born again, Spirit filled, Bible-believing. However I cannot honestly say that Bush is a Christian but Obama is not. That kind of stance would be driven purely by prejudice no matter how many Scriptures I quote to deflect from my true motivation.

Why don't you publish my comment? You are here blatantly promoting Romney on a Christian website but you don't appear to tolerate a view that rightly calls out that Mitt Romney is a Mormon and that many of the people on this site are Mormons pretending to be Christians in order to promote their man. Where is your Christian fairness? I am aware of Reed's anti-Obama scare mongering and I believe that it will fail. Some Christians will vote for Obama and some will vote for Romney, but I find it disappointing that you are selectively peddling baseless comments about Obama's faith from extremists (in the name of God) who act as if they have had access to God's Book of Life.

Shedding innocent blood is not a righteous act. If we vote for someone who willingly allows these things, it is the same as if we committed that act. The Word of God tells us that God especially hates this kind of thing. Cast your religious spirit out, and vote for what you know God tells us is true and right. If you don't know what to do, read your Bible. The Holy Bible clearly states what God loves and hates. The Word of God is quick and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword. It discerns the true thoughts and intents of our hearts. What an awesome and wonderful God we serve. He alone is worthy to be praised and worshipped. If we sincerely ask Him, He will guide us into all truth. He even guides us with His Eye. Our steps and our prayers will be ordered and inspired by Him if we trust in Him for all things. Hallelujah!1 John 3:7).Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 8) He that committeth sin is of the devil
