Remembering Andrew Breitbart

It was absolutely shocking to hear about Andrew Breitbart's death this morning. Not only did I know him, I actually went out and spent some time with him and his family at his Los Angeles home.

We spent the day together filming a story about him for "The 700 Club." You can watch that story and more of my in depth interview with him below.

Andrew definitely had a zest for life. I remember him touring me around L.A. taking me to places he grew up and had the best memories. He was always on the go, never slowing down. His brain was a non-stop treasure trove of ideas and opinions. I'll always remember how full of life he was and how passionate he fought for the causes he believed in. I'll miss him.

Here's a look at my interview with Andrew Breitbart at his home, in April 2010.

And here's a look at the story on "The 700 Club."

Sorry to hear of his death. He was a true crusader against corruption in the USA.

Mr. Brody, just wanted to say I really enjoyed watching your clip with Andrew Breitbart.I am so sad to hear he passed away.He was still so young.I hope his family knows many people are praying for them.I always liked Mr. Breitbart,& thought he was a breath of fresh air!what was so refreshing about him was you could really see he truly loved and beleived in what he was doing, going after & exposing corruption where he or others found it.If it was in the media, government,White House,it didn't matter,he wanted to expose it and see justice done for the victims, and to also open the eyes of us citizens here in the U.S., to corruption, abuses of power in our govt.,& behind the scenes like Acorn,Planned Parenthood ,&the many other situations & people he exposed.Without him we would still be ignorant & uninformed of abuses we probably would have never imagined. We truly need many more Mr. Breitbarts. He stood up the defenceless, the underdog,& he hated injustice.Im sorry Mr Brody, you lost a FRIEND.

I never agreed with what he said but as a fellow human being, father and someone who expressed himself fully, I send my prayers to the family and may he RIP.

Very interesting and well done videos about Andrew Breitbart. I am sad that he is no longer with us. He was a champion.

Thanks for your kind words for Andrew Breitbart. I had read many of his articles at NRO, but as I read articles after his death, I was sobered to realize he was a casualty in the same war I am fighting - for truth to prevail in America. I am saddened at the loss, praying for his family and cinching up my armor to re-engage as the Lord leads in these end times battles.
