Gingrich The Insider Is The Outsider

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie has come out and said that Newt Gingrich has been an "an embarrassment to the party."

Bad line. It doesn’t help the Romney campaign at all. The Tea Party and many on-fire conservatives could care less about “the party” (GOP).

Stay in the know. Get The Brody File Weekly:

The reason Gingrich is resonating (in part) is because he is moving away from the establishment party hierarchy. Romney touts the GOP establishment hierarchy at every turn, from conference calls to endorsements.

The Gingrich campaign is forming the narrative that Newt is a man of the people, even though he’s been around Washington forever. Romney hasn’t spent anytime in Washington and yet looks like the establishment backed candidate.

Go figure. What a topsy-turvy 2012 campaign.

Very good insight, Brother Brody. We need DC to go topy turvy.

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie declared on Sunday that Newt Gingrich has been "an embarrassm ent" to the Republican Party..."

It's always surprising to hear a GOP official tell the actual truth.

Exactly right! Most career politicians don't get the "Tea Party" mentality that resides in many conservatives. But Newt seems to "get it." He is tapping into that rich vein of frustration, anger and disillusionment with Washington - no matter the party. Like it or not, this nation is reaching an emotional boiling point and we do not seem to be measuring our candidates by the issues as much as we are measuring them for the "fire in their bellies." When feelings run as deep as they are in this country right now, leadership becomes the issue - not just leadership with ability that aligns with our politics, but leadership that rallies us and calls to our sensibilities. Newt is doing that with his attacks on the media and by denouncing political correctness as he did with Juan Williams.

We may not believe this; however the huge scandals are made by the politicians and the rich, not the poor who can hardly live with a meal a day. No. I am not talking of of corruptions in the sub Sahara states, I am talking of those who took us to the brink of the bankruptcy. I thank you Firozali A.Mulla DBA
