Majority of GOP Primary Voters Believe President Obama Wasn't Born in U.S.

For what it's worth. The "birther" storyline gains steam. Are you one of the so-called 'birthers" out there? If so, send your comments my way and check this story out from Politico:

In a shocking finding, more than half of GOP primary voters believe President Barack Obama was not born in the United States, according to a new poll.

Fifty-one percent of 400 Republican primary voters surveyed nationwide by Public Policy Polling said they ascribe to the controversial birther conspiracy theory — despite the fact that the State of Hawaii has posted Obama’s certificate of live birth.

Only 28 percent said they think the president was born in the United States — a constitutional requirement to be president. Twenty-one percent said they were “not sure.”

“Any thought that the birther theory has been put to rest can be thrown out the window,” said Dean Debnam, the president of the Democratic-leaning polling firm. “That view is still widely held in Republican circles.”

Even a number of Republicans officials have said they believe Obama was born in the U.S. and have called for an end to the debate

Among those who do not believe Obama was born in the United States, Mike Huckabee is their first choice for president, followed by Sarah Palin, Newt Gingrich, and then Mitt Romney.

Those who do think the president is a citizen favor Romney over the rest of the field. Huckabee, Palin, and Ron Paul trail Romney among believers in Obama’s birth in Hawaii.

The poll was conducted Feb. 11-13 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.9 percentage points.

Look, here's the deal. The more these stories continue to float out there, the more it helps the President politically.

That's right. It helps him. Why? Because the President can use this information by saying to crucial Independent voters that the GOP base is far to the right with this sort of nonsense.

All I'm saying is this. It's about time the "birther" folks start dropping the bombshell if they have it. If they have the "smoking gun"or have a way of finding out how to get a hold of the "smoking gun," then let's see it. Otherwise, it's just headline grabbing and nothing more.

If Almighty God had to accept the fact that His first family He created brought sin into our DNA, then we must accept the fact that President Obama is in the WhiteHouse, US Citizen or not. PRAY that the LORD will guide the mind of Mr. Obama to make the right choices according to the Word and Will of God for America and Israel. Trip, stumble and fall is the obstacle for looking backwards. Perseverance is faith's goal pressing forward.

I believe that is President Obama is a man of words, of integrity and truth, he would put an end to this affair about his birth place by showing to all the American people and the World his birth certificate. Period
Being the head of the USA, he should give the example in everything.
A true christian is suppose to be a light in the darkness.
