When Tim Pawlenty runs for President his nickname will be “T-PAW.” But after watching the campaign-style video his team just put out, we might want to call him “T-REX.”
This video is so full of testosterone it’s unbelievable. I just wanted to smash something when I was done. I felt like I was watching the movie trailer for “Die Hard” but instead of Bruce Willis I see Tim Pawlenty. It looked like he was going to beat me up. No more Mr. Nice guy for T-PAW. And that’s just what Pawlenty will need to do to make his mark and win the nomination.
We already know Pawlenty is the “nice guy” former governor from Minnesota. We know that he will connect with voters as a regular guy. But what Pawlenty will need to prove is that he has a “fire in the belly.” He’ll need to prove that he’s a tough guy. Basically, he will need to show that he is Bruce Willis or Stallone or Vin Diesel.
If he does, then he very well may be tough to beat and will not die easily in the primaries. Instead it might be a true “Die Hard” movie starring Tim Pawlenty.
