Christine O’Donnell’s first campaign ad is up and it’s leaving quite a few people scratching their head.
The first words out of her mouth are, "I'm not a witch."
Huh?
I'm so glad to know Christine O'Donnell is not a witch. I can sleep well.
Look, I get the whole deal where you try to control your image. That makes sense, but for O'Donnell to look into the camera and tell people she is not a witch misses the point entirely. Nobody really thinks she is a witch.
The issue is that stories like that from her past make her vulnerable to people believing that she is a kooky.
That is what she should be addressing with something like, "You may have heard some kooky stories about me but that's not who I am. What IS kooky is the Democrats agenda in Congress, etc."
I need an Excedrin. O'Donnell isn't a witch but someone in her campaign needs to make this ad disappear.
