Sarah Palin heads off to Des Moines, Iowa, this week to speak at the Iowa Republican Party's Reagan Dinner on Sept. 17.
With all due respect to the lovely city of Des Moines, I don't think she is there to see the sites, you know what I mean? The Brody File will monitor her speech this Friday to see if she adds some fresh material that feels 2012.
On a separate but related note, have you seen the big wordy article in Vanity Fair about Sarah Palin?
A word of advice...don't bother! The author, Michael Joseph Gross trashes Palin through a bunch of unnamed sources.
Look, here's the deal. The Brody File gets it. Palin sells. Put her on the magazine cover and the cash register goes "ca-ching." But memo to Michael Joseph Gross: that article was gross and has nothing to do with responsible journalism.
It's one thing to quote one unnamed source once in an article, but to have multiple unnamed sources in a lengthy magazine article doesn't hurt Palin's reputation. It hurts yours.
