DNC Chairman Tim Kaine: ““We will not have the same momentum”
On Harry Reid’s race in Nevada:
DNC Chairman Tim Kaine: “I do think he is going to win. It is a tough one. The polling right now shows that it’s tough but Harry is a wonderful campaigner.”
On Barbara Boxer’s race in California:
DNC Chairman Tim Kaine: “While that will be a very tough race I think the leader is going to ultimately prevail and obviously the President and us at the party are going to do all that we can to help him prevail.”
DNC Chairman Tim Kaine: “We’re not taking this race for granted. She is a very strong campaigner and is very much loved in California so she’s not going to take it for granted. We’re going to work real hard. I feel like she’s going to be fine.”
His message to Tea Party groups:
DNC Chairman Tim Kaine: “To those members of the tea parties or others who are worried about the size of government this is a President who wanted to do it in a bi-partisan way with the deficit commission but Republican sponsors voted no. He still has moved ahead and you’re going to see actions taken by the administration to deal with the size of government.”
