Palin/Bachman in 2012?

Just curious. Who would you rather see together at a rally? Michele Bachman and Sarah Palin like we saw Wednesday in Michigan?

Or would you rather see Barbara Boxer and Diane Feinstein rockin’ out in CA?

OK. I know the answer.

Palin and Bachmann are GOP hits because they simply have “it.” If you think “it” means they are both just a couple of pretty faces, then you are missing the entire point.

The “it” factor is a combination of authenticity, a home-spun Americano flavor that resonates in the heartland of this country and fiery and passionate rhetoric. The fact that they are both attractive sure doesn’t hurt, but to say that beauty is the main reason is naïve.

# RE: Palin/Bachman in 2012?

Palin/Bachmann 2012? No:

1. A successful ticket will require a military male. The most notable thing the McCain-Palin ticket had over Obama-Biden was McCain's military experience. This advantage should be retained. It will also be a direct asset in the very possible event of social chaos in 2012.

2. Bachmann is a legislator, not an executive. Even as the McCain-Palin ticket had executive experience (a military officer and a mayor & governor), a good ticket in 2012 will need such experience to justify replacing the ones with experience in the actual position.

3. Frankly, too much estrogen. A liberal feminist boss of mine who thought Bill Clinton's only mistake was not listening to Hilary openly acknowledged that women were more jealous than men. And in that same line, there will be times when a situation mandates a testosterone surge. While I have confidence Palin could push the proverbial button, never underestimate the potential positive influence of raw aggression.

I would love to see Palin-Bachman on a ticket in 2012. Guarantee us 4 more years to get this country back on its feet again before the neocons come in and tear it down again..welcome back Dave...
