Here’s a random thought by The Brody File:
We’re watching the health care summit play out on live TV and we're kind of wondering the following: did the President morph from commander in chief to time man of the year?
My goodness, someone please give the President a stopwatch or hire a guy to be his timer. It made us here at the Brody File go "Oy Vey."
You know, we are being told that health care is extremely important, that the American economy may lay in ruin if we don't do something about health care and that time is of the essence. Well, here's the deal. If health care is so important why did we keep hearing the President say that we need to wrap the summit up at 4pm? Umm, isn't this really really really important? I mean couldn't y'all stay till like, well, I don't know, buy maybe 4;45pm? 5;30pm? It still would get everybody home in time for dinner.
Seriously, why was this thing scheduled for just 7 hours? How about a few marathon sessions?
Get the cots out! Well, on second thought maybe not. The visuals of Boehner, McConnell, Reid and Pelosi in pajamas is not very appealing.
