President Obama's Nominee to EEOC May Cause Stir

On The 700 Club this morning, The Brody File did an in-depth report on Chai Feldblum, President Obama’s nominee for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Some of her comments will surely be controversial including video of her saying, “Gay sex is morally good”. It then gets even more interesting than that when she starts talking about her views on marriage and how in most cases sexual liberty trumps religious liberty.

You can watch the TV report below.

Feldblum is well know in gay circles. She negotiated and drafted provisions for the Employment Non-Discrimination Act.Her work on ENDA, which would add language to protect those of a different sexual orientation is significant considering that Feldblum could be a member of the EEOC - which will be the agency responsible for issuing the regulations that will enforce ENDA if and when it becomes law.

This potential fight over Feldblum could give pause to conservative moderates and Democrats (Catholics) who voted for President Obama. Of course the gay community will want Obama to fight for her if it gets ugly but fighting for a nominee who has said some pretty radical things could get messy. Will the GOP fight him on this? Stay tuned.

Pat,
Listen to what Ms. Blumfeld says, not what you interpret. She would not remove anyone's ability to be married. If a man and a woman want to be married-they will be able to as they are now. If a gay or lesbian couple want to create a baby with a gay/lesbian couple that live next door that they respect and both parties agree, then they can choose who to be the creator of their children. You chose yours right? This has nothing to do with group sex by itself. However, if people want to have group sex they are going to, and do. That's been going on for years & will continue to do so.
Ms. Chai acknowledges there will be legal decisions made where freedom from discrimination triumphs over personal religious beliefs. She has compassion and understanding for this, but she does not believe personal religious beliefs override legal discrimination and she will be overwhelmingly supported in this opinion. Some people didn't like racial discrimination ending, thank GOD it did. Disagree?

No offense to the "self proclaimed gay christian"...but you can NOT be SAVED if you follow a Practice GOD & Christ both Called ABOMINABLE & claim that Christ will "lead you to victory", when you commit a sin so heinous as that & CONTINUE to follow that CHOICE as a lifestyle, you are going against a basic tenant in the Bible...& MAN shall leave HIS Family & cleave to HIS WIFE (Woman)...nowhere at all in NT or OT does it say ANYTHING even remotely that would make any True Christian believe that "2 men or 2 women" in a relationship is "ok with GOD & Christ"...since they are ONE IN THE SAME, when GOD (& hence CHrist ALSO) says that for a man to lie with a man as he would a woman is an ABOMINATION...there is no "escape clause" that allows your sinful & unnatural CHOICE to be considered either rational or following GOD & Christ's Will... Feldum speaks only for GAYS...NOT for CHristians & needs to read her BILL OF RIGHTS before claiming "gay rights supercede my GOD GIVEN & CONSTITUTIONAL ones

I am tired of people Equating gay rights with Racial Rights...being someone of mixed ethnicity that is a DISGRACE to me to see the homosexuals/lesbians & the like who CHOOSE what they are claiming a "special right" above anyone else....I could not CHOOSE to be the mixed race I am I was BORN that way...but as we have seen & heard SCIENTIFICALLY the FALSE DOCUMENTS that for years tried proving "gay people were born that way" was a LIE that could NEVER BE PROVEN by the genes the GAY Scientists were using to "prove their special status"...it is NOT Discrimination, it is a CHOICE the homsexuals/lesbians & such have made that goes against the BASIC NATURE OF THE HUMAN BODY...even today the APA (Am Phsychology/Psychiatrists Assoc) STILL calls this CHOICE an issue that is a MENTAL DEFECT, because it goes against the NATURAL ORDER of a man or woman's body...so PLEASE STOP CLAIMING DISCRIMINATION when there is NONE to claim AT ALL

I believe this line of thinking is more in terms of what some of us call Counterfeit Christians.

Its like someone saying, I know a Christian that lies.

Not true. They know a liar that calls his or her self a Christian.

We can look at the bright side. As I'm sure you are already aware of, the New York Senate Rejected the GAY MARRIAGE BILL on December 3rd.

Additionally, I don't think that Obama is longed for continueing to be President.

Unless there have been new developments I am not aware of He is not Legally Qualified to Be the President of the U.S..

The Birth Certificate Issue is not his problem. His problem is that his Father was and is not a Citizen of the United States and therefore it does not matter where he was born, he is not eligible to be President.

When this comes to a head and he is ousted in 2010 I would suspect that any nominations or bills passed would have to come under great scrutiny and hopefully overturned.
