Joshua DuBois, head of The White House Office of Faith Based and Neighborhood Partnerships sits down for an exclusive one on one interview with The Brody File.
I interviewed him in his hometown of Nashville this past weekend. I’ll be doing an in depth personal profile piece on Joshua DuBois later this month on The 700 Club. I talk to his parents as well. But because we love to provide the vast Brody File audience (all twelve of you) some preview clips, I’ve decided to post eight excerpts from the interview. Aren’t you lucky?
In this clip, DuBois talks about being in this very important role at such a young age. He’s 26 but those who know him say he’s wise beyond his years.
Joshua DuBois: “I’m honored and certainly blessed and humbled. I know what I know and I’m confident in my ability to do this job and the jobs that I’ve been given before but I also know what I don’t know and I’m certainly not hesitant to reach out to folks like the great people in the White House or the President or these wonderful religious leaders and community leaders who are around who have been doing this a lot longer than I and can provide some perspective about this work so I’m the first one to pick up the phone or ask questions or try and fill in the gaps on something that I may not be strong on. I’m just honored to be in this position and be working for the American people.”
