Barack Obama was staring at me on my metro ride into DC today.
So check this out. I’m schlepping through the rain on my way to the metro station in DC and I buy a farecard. Guess what? Out pops a farecard with Obama’s picture on it. He’s everywhere. I can’t escape him. I covered him on the campaign trail, interviewed him four times, will cover him at The White House and now his image even follows me on my metro ride.

My card was free. It just popped out of the machine. I think I’ll frame it. Nah. On second thought, I’ll stuff it into a drawer someplace.
By the way, what are you doing today? I’m going to watch the Obama channel on the Dish Network. Or maybe I’ll be these flip flops for my wife.
