John McCain won’t be bringing up Jeremiah Wright but a Republican PAC has. Watch the campaign ad against Obama here:
If McCain loses, the post mortem will be fascinating to read. You can make the case that McCain should have brought up Jeremiah Wright. Instead, the campaign brought up Bill Ayers. Why didn’t they bring up both and furthermore, did they bring up Ayers too late? What if they had brought up Ayers, Wright, Rezko much earlier and packaged them together as a condemnation of Obama’s judgment and character? It never happened. Bringing up Ayers in this last 4 weeks comes across as negative campaigning. If they had made the case earlier, then it might have had even more impact.
