With all this "Joe the plumber" talk on the campaign trail, I've decided to change my name. Please don't refer to me any more as "The Brody File". I want to now be referred to as "David the Blogger"
John McCain talks so much about "Joe the Plumber" that maybe the guy should be his running mate. I mean can Joe get financial royalties from all of this? Joe needs to patent his name or something.
I must say the whole "Joe the Plumber" has worked on the stump for McCain. It gives him a connection point to his audience and gives him a fighting chance to come off looking like he's fighting for the common man. That's not an easy task considering McCain has been in Congress for almost 30 years.
Now Sarah Palin is expanding the "Joe the Plumber" moniker. In a speech today, she had fictional references to Tito the Builder, Phil the Bricklayer and Chuck the Teacher. She also called Obama "Barack the Wealth-Spreader."
