It’s moments like the one I’m about to describe below that hurt Barack Obama. One of his own national security advisors says that he’s not ready for the 3 a.m. wakeup call if he were Commander in Chief. Watch it here and read below from Susan Rice, one of his foreign policy advisors:
“Clinton hasn’t had to answer the phone at three o’clock in the morning and yet she attacked Barack Obama for not being ready,'’ Ms. Rice said. “They’re both not ready to have that 3 a.m. phone call.”
As my Jewish mother would say, “Oy-vey.” Let me take you inside the Obama camp as The Brody File has obtained the following picture of their reaction to Rice’s comments.
Click here. You just can’t say something like that in an election this close. It gives the Clinton camp the ammunition to build their case. As a matter of fact, the Clinton campaign is now out with this statement in reference to this video clip:
Senator Obama lost Ohio and Texas because voters had doubts about his ability to serve as Commander-in-Chief and steward of the economy. But instead of addressing those concerns, how is Senator Obama responding? By attacking Senator Clinton.
With one of his top foreign policy advisers acknowledging yesterday that he is not ready to take the 3 a.m. call, and one of his principal supporters in Texas unable to name a single legislative accomplishment, Senator Obama’s time would be better spent making the case for why he can do the most important job in the world just three years out of the state senate.
