Regular viewers of the Stakelbeck on Terror Show know that I've reported extensively on the very real threat of an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) attack against the U. S. homeland.
As Newt Gingrich has rightly pointed out (ignore the leftist HuffPo's snark in the linked piece), anyone who experienced the sudden and powerful derecho storm that walloped the mid-Atlantic region on June 29--knocking out power to millions of people for days during a heatwave--received just a small dose of what life would be like after an EMP attack obliterated the U.S. electrical grid and knocked us back into the 1800s.
And guess what? Iran, China, Russia, and North Korea are all either working on or already possess this kind of technology.
