Ahmadenijad Demands Apology From President Obama

Acknowledgement of 60 years of so-called American crimes against Iran. A formal apology to the Iranian people. And a withdrawl of support for Israel. Are these the kinds of demeaning, unrealistic and guilt-tripping demands we can expect from the Iranian government once direct negotions begin with the Obama administration? If so, are negotiations even worth it? Especially when the Iranian regime has made abundantly clear that acquiring a nuclear weapon and destroying

Al Qaeda in North Africa Attempting to Develop WMDs?

After initial reports in a British tabloid that Al-Qaeda in North Africa (otherwise known as AQ in the Islamic Maghreb, whose emergence we first told you about way back in July 2007) had suffered an outbreak of bubonic plague in one of its training camps, some more specific and credible details are beginning to emerge. And they aren't pretty: for Al-Qaeda (reportedly as many as 40 dead) or for the West. From the Washington Times' irrepressible Eli Lake:

New Bin Laden Tape Calls for Jihad Against Israel

You knew it was coming eventually. Hey,  he has to stay relevant somehow among global jihadis, which means that commenting on current events where Islamic terrorists are engaged against "infidel" democracies is a must. Hence, his "Gaza-burg Address." From CBN News:

Hamas Ready For a Truce?

An interesting statement yesterday from Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh, who is currently sequestered in a spider hole somewhere in Gaza. From the Jeruslam Post:

Anti-Israel Protestors in London Confront Police

The tape, as they say, tells the whole story. And it has to be seen to be believed: complete Islamo-anarchy in the U.K., with no regard whatsover for the law. From our friends at Jihad Watch, where you can watch the YouTube link:

An Up Close Look at Hamas Tactics

The Israeli military is maintaining a blog that gives regular updates on Operation Cast Lead in Gaza. One recent entry provides a fascinating look at what Israeli troops are encountering as they confront Hamas strongholds in Gaza. Be sure to check it out, and to also watch my colleague Chris Mitchell's report on some of the latest developments in the conflict, including the possible opening of a Lebanese front against Israel. Also note that tomorrow is a pivotal day in the Hamas-Fatah power

Big Pro-Israel Rally in Washington, D.C.

I attended a large and raucous pro-Israel rally today at the "6th and I St." synagogue in Washington, D.C. Over 1,000 people crammed into this historic building, waving Israeli flags and holding signs calling for an end to Hamas's Iranian-sponsored terrorist onslaught against Israel.

The Real Deal on Israel

Back in November, I traveled to Israel, where I spent eight days traveling throughout the whole of the country.

Hamas Supporters in America?

As promised in my blog on the topic last week, my piece about the huge anti-Israel rallies that have taken place in America and Europe since the Gaza conflict began aired on today's 700 Club. You can watch it here. An update: things are only getting worse in Europe. Synagogues have been attacked in Britain, France and Sweden in the past week, and there have been reports of up to 25 anti-Semitic incidents in Britain alone. Some say this is the worst rash of anti-Semitism to hit Europe since

How Long Will the Gaza Operation Last?

As you read this, Israel may have already commenced a ground invasion of Gaza. But in the meantime, some updates.  I spoke to a high-ranking Israeli Army source earlier today who told me that it is hard to predict how long Israel's operation against Hamas in Gaza will last, but that it is "going to be long" (so much for that ceasefire talk out of France?).  The official pointed out that Hamas has had years to dig in and prepare itself for the current confl

Anti-Israel Rallies Across America and Europe

Happy New Year to everyone and God bless. I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings on this festive day, but I'll get right to the point because I want you all to be acutely aware of what Israel and the West are facing as we move into 2009.
