Naked Truth: Marriage's Most Intimate Act

Honestly, can you think of any act more intimate than joining together in a quiet place, holding hands in prayer, and allowing your soul to be bare naked before God?

This is our pledge: entering into this act of intimacy on a daily basis with the one person you love more than any other will take you to a level of joy and satisfaction that you simply will not believe.

You love life will be better, your communication better. Your whole life will be so much better. You'll find yourself beginning every prayer session saying "thank you" for this new life-changing experience.

I hope that by making a committment to a 40-day prayer adventure that it will become the first 40 days of a life-long habit. This way Share the Prayer will act as a rallying point for my family's faith. So glad this is not limited to couples only.

I hope this will be the never ending prayer for the salvation of our sons, their significants others, our grandchildren and all we meet throughout the day.

That we hear them through God our father, and speak to them through God, the truth that the Holy Spirit, which is in us, will have us to say.

That we edify, comfort and exhort all people God brings our way today.

Through Jesus, our Christ and Savior.

I pray that I will not be too shy to bare my naked soul to my husband because some of my most fervent prayers are about him. I pray the same for him. I pray that we will break through the interia and rreally create this holy habit. But not just safe and boring petitions to our Lord but true soul connection to Him
