At what age do we have the old birds and the bees discussion? I find myself being confronted with it all of the sudden. This is a sensitive topic that must be approached carefully, I know. I just did not plan on bunnies in our backyard being the catalyst.

All three of my kids were up last night barfing at various times. Holy stomach virus batman!!! Charles woke up gagging and coughing at 4 and 5 a.m., but never actually woke up. Then, I got worried at 8:45 this morning and decided to go in and wake him up. The smell hit me in the hallway and just about knocked me over.

So, we took a trip to the specialist again today for the second tonsillectomy in this family, in a year. First thing -- in the morning, young kids aren’t exactly ‘on their game,’ if you know what I mean. Trying to get the four of us; 1 adult, 3 little people dressed, eat, teeth brushed, collect everything that HAS to come with us and get out the door on time should be considered an event of Olympic proportions.

The week after our vacation landed us in the hospital. It wasn't a surprise visit though. Our oldest daughter had to have her tonsils taken out Monday morning, the day after we got home from being out of town. Ugh!
All went well during surgery. They even removed a ridiculously loose tooth putting an end to an enormous amount of unnecessary drama. Hallelujah!

Well, we’re back from vacation, and boy I’m exhausted! We went to the beach for a week and, as usual, things did not quite go as planned.
Have you ever tried sharing a room with an 18 month old?
It’s practically impossible if you ask me. During the middle of the night, our son pops his normally adorable little head up at the foot of our bed, awake and ready to party...

My oldest daughter Bayley, appears to be following in my high-heeled footsteps. She is a true shoe fanatic! I could not be more proud. She has been trying every pair of shoes in my closet; some of them are absolute break-neck height. She prances around my room with great pride, if little grace...
