Much of the news from the Middle East these days is whether or not Israel will strike Iran's nuclear facilities; the growing influence of Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood; the increasing persecution of Christians or the carnage on display daily from Syria's civil war.
But there's another story percolating below the surface of the Middle East. It's a story with profound - and eternal - consequences. Many Muslims, more so than since the beginning of Islam 1,400 years ago, are coming to faith in Jesus Christ.
One of the ways they're changing is through what many call a supernatural phenomenon, Muslims having dreams and visions where Jesus Himself appears to them. Another way is the spread of Christian satellite television throughout the Middle East. Yet a third way is Muslims encountering Christians who love them unconditionally.
We recently talked about this phenomenon with Hazem Farraj, the host of "Reflections." You can see Farraj's shows here.
Farraj himself came out of a Muslim background and like many Muslim Background Believers (MBBs), he's suffered for his faith. We talked with him about his own testimony; this emerging trend throughout the Middle East; his TV shows, and what he believes people in the West need to know about what's happening in the Middle East.
I think you'll enjoy Farraj and his illuminating insights into today's Middle East.
