U.S. congressmen and women frequently visit Israel. But one recent congressional delegation went where no official delegation has gone before. That means they "officially" visited Judea and Samaria, otherwise known as the "West Bank."
Why haven't congressmen and women paid "official" visits to Judea and Samaria? A long standing State Department policy has kept our representatives away from places like Ariel, a booming Jewish community in the land of Samaria.
