What's it Like to Visit Israel?

For many Christians visiting Israel it's often a once in a lifetime experience and a life changing experience. On today's 700 Club we ran a story highlighting one church group as they toured the Holy Land. Here are some more impressions of this group from New Life Providence Church in Virginia Beach, Virginia. I think you'll find these heart felt comments from their pastor and the parishoners inspiring. Perhaps it will encourage you - if you haven't already - to visit the Land of the Bible.

# RE: What's it Like to Visit Israel?

I have made 5 trips to Israel and I am in the process of putting our 6th trip together. There is no place like Israel in the World. I feel the presence of God from the time we arrive to the time we leave. To stand on the Mt of Beatitudes and realize that Jesus shared some of his greatest messages from here, spent time alone with God, and has you gaze out over the Sea of Galilee, it is awesome. I have a web site that people can view: seethebestofisrael.com As tour hosts it is always amazing to watch the expression on people faces when they start to realize where they are and what took place here. I have never had anyone ever come home and say they felt fearful while they were in Israel, it is always the same comment, I felt totally at peace. For me going to Israel is like going home it is a terrific. I had a pastor with me on out first trip and when he came home, the thing that the trip did was place a hunger in him for reading the word of God like he had never had before.
