Many tourists consider the Garden Tomb one their favorites sites here in Jerusalem. This spiritual oasis in the heart of Jerusalem contains an empty tomb some believe was the place where Jesus Christ rose from the dead 2,000 years ago.
For many years, Peter Wells has served as director of the Garden Tomb Association and been a mainstay here in the city of Jerusalem. Last night, it was announced Peter is suffering from an agressive form of cancer and needs prayer.
As a reminder of Peter, we've included a clip from an interview CBN News did with Peter in 2003 just before the beginning of the Iraq War. In it, Wells mentions that because of our faith in Jesus Christ, we are "secure in His grip."
Now Peter needs prayer for healing, physical restoration and the assurance that he remains "in the grip" of the One who promised to "never leave us or forsake us."
