On January 20th – just more than two months away - President Bush’s term of will expire. Despite a high intensity diplomatic push by his Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice Bush failed to achieve a negotiated settlement between Israelis and Palestinians by the end of his term, a goal he set earlier this year.
Recently, we interviewed Bill Koenig, the author of “Eye to Eye: Facing the Consequences of Dividing Israel.” Koenig says there well might be a connection between the troubles Bush faced during his presidency and his goal of dividing the land of Israel.
