Director Darren Aronofsky's new biblical epic, Noah, starring Russell Crowe, has made quite a stir, with some questioning the film's adherence to the written Word. That aside (since I have not yet seen the film), it is evident (from the trailer and the following featurette) that the talented cast and crew were passionate about making their movie live up to Noah's grand story.

From the Executive Producer of Holy Rollers comes Little Hope Was Arson, a new faith-based, feature length documentary that screened at the Sundance Film Festival this week. Little Hope Was Arson follows the real-life horror story East Texas communities faced in 2010 when local Bible Belt churches were burned with seemingly no rhyme or reason.

The result of that meeting, besides a budding friendship, was a new industry partnership. HISTORY's hit miniseries The Bible has been nominated for three Emmy Awards. The Mark Burnett and Roma Downey-produced series shares the Outsanding Miniseries or Movie category with American Horror Story: Asylum, Behind the Candelabra, Phil Spector, Political Animals and Top of the Lake.

Paramount Pictures is working on a big budget movie, set to release next spring, retelling the biblical story of Noah and the flood. Time will tell if Noah will be a success, but my guess is it will be. Directed by Oscar winner Darren Aronofsky, Noah stars Oscar winner Russell Crowe in the lead role, and Oscar winners Jennifer Connelly and Sir Anthony Hopkins alongside him.

American Bible Challenge, the Game Show Network’s primetime Bible trivia show hosted by comedian Jeff Foxworthy, ends its season tonight at 9 p.m. ET/PT (Thursday, May 23rd). To promote the season’s closer, which features a performance by GRAMMY-winning duo Mary Mary, GSN has released two comedic finale previews.

HISTORY's The Bible miniseries concluded last night with a lead in to Revelation. Starting five weeks ago, the Mark Burnett and Roma Downey produced drama has taken us from Genesis to an aging apostle John living in exile on the island of Patmos. There, he writes the last book of our Bible.

Last week's episode of The Bible left us with Jesus telling Peter in his fishing boat that they were going to "change the world". Tonight's episodes, starting with the first hour aptly titled "Mission", begin to show how Jesus' presence changed the course of history.
