The Brotherhood's War on Egyptian Christians

YMCA Minya, Egypt

The list of churches and Christian institutions attacked by the Muslim Brotherhood and its supporters in Egypt is growing.

The most recent count is over 50. Those are the ones we know about.

And it's not only churches that have been targeted: Bible Society bookstores in Cairo, Fayoum, and Assyut have also been attacked and the YMCA building in Minya was set ablaze.

Christians reportedly have been killed and at least one pastor and his wife were reportedly kidnapped from the Adventist Church in Assyut.

Brotherhood members in Cairo have been overheard saying, "If you find a Christian, kill him!"

This massive wave of violence against Christians is unprecedented in modern Egyptian history. While there's still no condemnation from the Obama adminstration, the most conservative voices in Egypt--the Islamist Salafis--have spoken out against the targeting of churches.

Which Brotherhood members were overheard saying this? Are they the leaders of the group, or radicalized 'rogue' members? I would like a bit more information, as this is sort of like saying, "When I was in Washington, Christians were overheard saying homosexuals deserve death." That would not be a just indictment of all Christians, would it?

To "InChrist", I had the same thought about the source of that statement, but then thought further, and realized a couple of other things. First, in times of violence, giving the names of your sources can get them killed, so while it would be better to have an exact source, it might not be wise. Second, this statement was attributed to a person in the Muslim Brotherhood, and not just a "Muslim." Third, your comparison of the Muslim Brotherhood with "all Christians" is not fair. It would be more accurate to say something like, "Someone overheard a member of the Westboro Baptist church say homosexuals deserve death." We know that the Westboro Baptist church does not represent the views of most Christians, just as the Muslim Brotherhood does not represent the views of most Muslims. It think that would have been a more equivalent statement.

Why hasn't this been played out in the broader media. "kill all Christians"! I am apprehensive if this is true or not as no one has been filmed saying it!!

The fact that so many Christian churches and organizations have been targeted with no real condemnation from the Obama administration is real telling of how this administration supports the Brotherhood. Yet, the President has time to make a lengthy comment about the Zimmerman case, and that comment was a racially divisive one at that. He is a Brotherhood sympathizer and shouldn't represent our country as President. Impeach him!

There is division throughout the world. Not just Muslims and Christians, but also Muslims killing each other(Sunni & Shite). This division also rears its ugly head in our own country between conservatives and liberals. The anger just hasn't boiled over into violence in America, YET. If the USA is to remain the greatest country on the planet we cannot allow these spirits of darkness to divide and conquer. We have to know our enemies and to defeat them, not appease them. Luckily Obama wasn't President during the Third Reich. JESUS SAVES!

The MB is merely following their prophet's dictates to kill Jews, Christians, and other non- followers of Allah. It should surprise no one that they are targeting Christians.

50 dead is not a massive death toll. 30,000 dead on US roads last year or over one million babies aborted in America per year, those are massive numbers.

# RE: The Brotherhood's War on Egyptian Christians

"And they have defeated him (evil one(s) because of the Blood of the Lamb and because of their testimony, and they were NOT AFRAID TO DIE." (Revelations 12:11) They can kill all the Christians, it does not mattere, we go to salvation! And are not afraid to die. Those who are killing the Christians should be terrified of what's coming on them. They will not go unpunished. This goes for those who are speaking uyp for the MBH's, as if they can't help what they do, or are justified in this murder of innocent people. They can accuse Christians of evils all day, God knows the Christian heart, and there is NO evil in the Body of Christs Hearts. Woe to those who call evil good, and think they are doing God a Service by killing His Children. Woe to them who cling to darkness, and do not want the light to expose their wickedness. May Our Lord Jesus Bless and Comfort those that are called by His name, May He Hold them in His Loving Arms.

In inflammed situations like we have in Egypt currently, a simple incitement by one irrate Muslim is like a single lit match stick being thrown into a keg of gun powder. What does it matter who said those words. The evidence of burning churches and Christian institutions speaks volumes, don't you think?

WHERE IS OBAMA ON THIS? Wake up America. He will support the MB. It is the plan of Satan to kill, steal, and destroy. THE VERY THING THIS MAN IS SUPPORTING IN OUR COUNTRY. Obama does not represent Jesus Christ and God's fruit. Jesus Christ is our only hope for peace.

# RE: The Brotherhood's War on Egyptian Christians

Followers of Christ the world over have to fast and pray for the safety of our fellow Christian brothers and sisters facing onslaught by forces of darkness. In fact the Church should rise up to this situation and give refuge in free countries and settle them among communities that follow Christ. Let us all remember our suffering Christians in our family and individual prayers and God will send succor.

A very close friend of mine, who is Egyptian by birth, read in an Egyptian newspaper, that Obama is a member of the International Brotherhood of the Islamist Brotherhood, and he heard from another source, that Obama's half brother is a high ranking officer in the Army.....Philip went on to say if true this could be a problem......so, why no condemnation from the silent White House?

Most Of The Political Leaders In America And Europe Are Supporting Terrorism And Promoting Islam All Over The World. See The Fruit Of There Intervene & Interference Over The Islamic World, Because Of Them The Taliban, Al Qaeda And Other Islamist Organization Became Active & Strong. See Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, Libya, Syria.
Americas Policies & The So Called Democracy In The Islamic World Has Spreed Terrorism And Hate For Christians Specially Europeans & Americans Al Over The World. Because Of Them Now The Christians In These Countries Are Feeling Unsafe & Insecure. The Political & Religious Leaders Should Get Together To Think On These Matters & how To Protect The Christians From The Islamic Countries. The International Immigration & Visa Policies Should Be Re Viewed To Provide Immigration & Asylum To The Deprived & Persecuted Christians staying in These Countries.
Please Pray to God That He May Protect His People As They Are Staying Under Life Threat In These Countries.
