Prayer Plea for Imprisoned Iranian Pastors

When most of us think about an imprisoned pastor in Iran, our thoughts often turn to Youcef Nadarkhani. Viewed as an apostate from Islam, the Iranian government has sentenced him to die because of his Christian faith. He’s been imprisoned now for 1,000 days.

The good news? International pressure is apparently working. He is still alive.

Another Iranian pastor is getting less attention in the West, even though he has endured torture and is in ill health.

Pastor Behnam Irani, 41, is from Kraj, Iran. He was convicted of crimes against national security in January 2011 and is currently serving the remainder of a six-year sentence. He has a wife and two children.

Lord I come to you this day in the name of Jesus to ask you to please have mercy on Pastor Behnam Irani and his family in this time of trial and tribulations. Lord please bring him and his family and Pastor Nadarkhani and all the other Christians who are suffering in Iran to see your intervention in all this and to free them from their bondage. We are your children and we are pleading for Mercy and Justice in this time of sorrow. May our enemies cease from all that they are trying to destroy. Only you Lord can help them also to see that their actions are only putting them in a vicious cycle of destruction. Let them see how the Christians carry their abuse with grace and make them hunger for it. I know that you can help them too. Help this world Lord! In the name of Jesus I plead for the blood of Jesus in Calvery..

Lord i come to you today, to ask you to to please have mercy on Pastor Behram and His family and in this time of persecution and testing of their faith be with them and strengthen them and give them courage to fight the good fight of faith, let your hands be upon them and his family, and release him from that jail, and i pray also pastor Nadrkhani and other christians who are presected in Iran that be intervene strengthen their faith in Jesus that they will never give up until the end. let their faith be shoutout through out Iran..that the people know that you the God, the of Israel, and the Son of the most high God. thank you Lord for you answered prayers.. in Jesus Name i ask and pray Amen..
