How impressive is it that God formed a plan to send His only Son to die for you! There's nothing, not one thing that can keep the love of God from reaching you -- if you will open your heart to Him. Remember, you are "not so much" out of His reach!
There’s a certain fulfillment that comes with flying off the handle. Maybe it’s the adrenaline rush we feel as we turn into active volcanoes, our faces become red, and we release an ash cloud of anger. Although anger may provide a few brief moments of release, it is a destructive and unhealthy reaction that empowers our sin nature and thwarts God's good work in our lives.
Tonight’s the big game. Painted banners stream across the gym displaying the school colors. The drumlline starts to play. Throughout the crowded bleachers students stamp their feet in rumbling rhythm to the band. The school mascot, dressed as a fuzzy golden lion, walks up to a microphone and calls out: “I’ve got spirit! Yes, I do! I’ve got spirit, how about you?”
