The first semester of the school year is behind and semester exams are over. So, how did it go? Are you ready to enter the second semester strong and finish the school year on top? Over the past few weeks, just like you, I’ve seen some of the troubling reports from Haiti. I’ve watched the news and read the paper with tears running down my cheeks and a thick lump in my throat -- making it hard to swallow let alone pray. Be assured as you step into the New Year of 2010, you won’t be walking alone! God is forever alive and more than able to touch your life afresh during this New Year. Best of all? He calls you friend. With that helpful knowledge, you have the assurance to approach Him in prayer with the self-confidence that you are welcome and accepted.
