Texas Congressman Louie Gohmert never shies away from talking about his faith and how he has been recognized by the National Bible Association with the "2010 Capitol Hill Award."
It is awarded by the Chaplains of the House and Senate to one member of each chamber for an exemplary commitment to reading the Bible. Georgia Sen. Johnny Isakson also received the award.
The National Bible Association has been around for 70 years. It's goal is to encourage Americans of all religions, political affiliations and creeds to read the Bible.
Here's a picture of House Chaplain Rev. Daniel Coughlin and National Bible Assoc. President Richard Glickstein with Rep. Gohmert.
