Congress Back in Session

This week, all 535 members of Congress - minus one officially declared U.S. Senator from Minnesota's still contested race - return to Capitol Hill from their Spring recess.  And, after two weeks away from Washington, they're eager to get busy with new legislation.

President Obama Praises the Troops

After an intense week of travel to the U.K., France, Germany, the Czech Republic, and Turkey, President Obama made an unannounced trip to Iraq.  There he met with Iraqi leaders, but emphasized that the visit's primary purpose was "to say thank you to the troops."

What's Michelle Obama Wearing Now?

While her husband remains in Turkey for the final leg of his first presidential diplomatic visit abroad, First Lady Michelle Obama has returned home, after getting press that nearly anyone from foreign leaders to Hollywood starlets would covet.

Obama and the Queen

While meeting Queen Elizabeth II isn't exactly the most politically significant part of President Obama's trip to Europe, it's definitely one of the most interesting.  Sitting in long diplomatic meetings with heads of state doesn't quite capture the romantic imagination like having tea with the queen.
