Try Journaling Your Recovery

Do you journal? Write down your thoughts, feelings, what you think God is showing you and what you’ve done and planned? It’s recommended by many well-respected Christian leaders. There’s something about writing these things down and being able to return to them later that is therapeutic; especially for those of us looking forward to breaking free from some destructive habit(s).

Recovery Help from the Bible

There comes a time when we really do get serious about change or there’d be no Recovery programs. Right? When that time comes, one may want to consider investing in The Life Recovery Bible. Tyndale House published this wonderful resource for people who are serious about change. It’s written in the New Living Translation (NLT).

Coping with Anger

Anger is simply not the best way to cope with pain. Yet, too often, we are encouraged to make the expression of anger a goal in itself. Chop wood, count to ten, yell in a pillow, get assertive, express your anger, get it out, we are told.
