There is some good news out of Somalia today! Two Italian Nuns who had been kidnapped in Kenya and held in captivity in Somalia have been released. The BBC reports that the ladies were snatched from the border town of El Wak.
There's big news out of Zimbabwe...
One of my colleagues sent me an amazing story from earlier this week out of the Washington Post regarding the Hutu militia men in Congo. They are evidently surrendering in large numbers. This is a great development in what has been one of the continent's bloodiest wars.
I saw a story this morning by Peter Wooding of ASSIST News Service. It's great! What a wonderful, uplifting account of how Africans are reaching out to others on their continent through the ministry of Mercy Ships.
