And on a personal note, thanks to all who have sent e-mails and/or called Nedra in regard to the passing on of her cousin Estelle Bennett last week. It has garnered wide coverage in the press. With some exceptions Estelle’s story and the Ronette history have been generally accurate.
Nedra is currently working on funeral arrangements with Toyen, Estelle’s daughter, and other family members. The tentative memorial service, to be announced, will be in New York City, in the last week of February.
