I grew up in the height of the Charismatic Movement where the "End Times" were always "at hand". That was nearly 40 years ago, and while these Christians were no doubt sincere, they were all wrong -- Jesus did not come back in the 1970s or '80s. Now we are hearing a growing chorus of voices saying that the world is going to end in 2012. We'll see.

A pro-life activist who was protesting abortion in front of a high school in Owosso, Michigan, was gunned down by a man who was offended by the stand he was taking for life. The victim, James Pouillon of Owosso, was well-known in the area for his pro-life activities.
