Kirk Cameron is Fireproof in New Movie

Unlike his Mike Seaver character in Growing Pains, Kirk Cameron plays an adult role in Fireproof with a problem that is sadly all too common in society today -- the breakup of a marriage. To my delight, he plays the role with sensitivity and maturity. After only a minute or so of Cameron's performance, I believed he was Caleb Holt.

444 Years: The Massacre of the Huguenot Christians in America

Being a student of American history I had heard of the massacre of the French Huguenot settlers in Florida, but I had not visited the sites where it took place. As I joined the tour at Fort Matanzas (meaning "slaughters" in Spanish), I learned the details of this North American extension of the religious, political, and military struggle that resulted from the Reformation.
